― Anna Wintour

What is the Best Time to Post?

Share in the perfect time is very important. Calculate the frequency, the best time and the size of the images can make the difference between reach 1000 persons or 10000 persons. Don't worry I'm giving you all the tips about all that.

For the facebook, you should post 3-4 times per day  between 1-4 pm and the image should have 1200x1200 pixels. You can (and should) check the analytics on your facebook page and see when your page has more traffic, so this way you can see what time and topic works better to your audience.
I really love Instagram! At Instagram, the perfect image size is 1080x1080px, share around 3-4 times per day and you should post between 11-2pm. You see your Instagram analytics on iconosquare.com or if you convert your account to a business Instagram account you can see the analytics on your profile. About the description, you should use hashtags to boost your posts. You can tag the persons or brands if you talk about them on your post, this will reach a bigger audience.

At the beginning, I haven't understood how twitter work and I haven't worry much about posting there. Now that I've learned how important twitter is, I'm using it in the right way. All the images should have 1024x1024 px and the perfect time to tweet is between 5-7pm. At twitter, you can tweet more times, 5 to 7 times per day. As you know twitter only allows 140 characters per tweet, so you have to use the words very wisely. You can use hashtags (aka keywords) on your tweets, and to save characters you can and should use them in a phrase without putting them at the end.

The keyword is "baby," so you can make a tweet like this : Find out how much time sleep a #baby (+link).
Let's talk now about Pinterest. I found Pinterest some years ago but I never used, and I never understood what it was. In 2015 when I started blogging again (find out my story here), I googled a lot and found gold on Pinterest! At Pinterest, you find a lot of ideas, inspiration and you can get a lot of referral traffic to your blog. The images should have 736x1104px, to fit well on Pinterest and to get more reach. You should pin 7-10 times per day, original content and others content.

Never miss a post with this schedule tools

You should post consistently to start building your brand and reach your audience. This means that you should post on your blog 2-3 per week, every week. The same on social media, try to post at the same days and hours, so this way your audience will know when you create something new. Posting every day during a week and then being 1 or 2 weeks without writing, posting or sharing something is really bad.

To help us with this tasks, we have some schedule tools that will help us create and share posts, without the need of being all day posting. These tools save me a lot of time, that now I use to create original content to share here on the blog. Every Sundays, I schedule the posts for all the entire week on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr.

Some of the tools that I use are Viraltag, Buffer, Hootsuite,Latergramme, Coschedule and Tailwind. I love all them and I use them for different reasons.

One of the scheduling tools that I love the most is Viraltag. You have 14 days of free trial and then the small plan you pay 24$ per month and you have Unlimited Posts, Unlimited Feeds, Marketing Calendar and Analytics. You can get it all for free by writing a blog post review about viraltag. I haven't done this yet but I will do it in the next months.
